The Modern Plant Stand build was inspired after a 2 hour drive to Ikea only to find they were sold out of the plant stand we wanted. Fortunately, the trip wasn’t a complete waste since there is always something to buy at Ikea! I was looking at my stack of walnut cutoffs that I picked up for free (check out our post on how to find free wood) and got inspired to build this plant stand.
